Core facts about the Dynamo chain — not a full technical specification

  • Launch: May 23, 2021 — no premine, no initial developer fund, no up-front reserve.
  • Consensus: Proof-of-work with the Dynamine algorithm (script-based, designed for broad participation; upgradable without a hard fork).
  • Blocks: ~18 second target block time; difficulty adjustment about every 2 minutes; up to 10MB block size.
  • Governance: Asset holders participate in on-chain decision-making; monetary policy can adapt via consensus.
  • Execution: Stateful, deterministic virtual machine for P2P transfers and application logic (execution bounded by time limits).
